Year 12 A Level Drama and BTEC Performing Arts students attended the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, this week to see the fantastic 'Sweeney Todd'. A very intense story, brilliantly acted, creative and inspiring, as always.
  Year 11, 12 and 13 Drama and Performing Arts students had the fantastic opportunity of taking part in a Physical Theatre workshop today, run by Frantic Assembly. The students have since been able to create other performance work, following this session. Thank you for a great workshop Frantic Assembly!
Alder Grange and AG6 students from courses such as GCSE Performing Arts, BTEC Performing Arts Level 3 and A Level Drama took part in a Musical Theatre singing workshop today. They did such a fantastic job! We have some very talented and committed pupils. Who knows? We may see them in the West End or Broadway one day!
 CEPA took Year 8 -13 to see a fantastic performance of 'Wicked' at the Palace Theatre in Manchester on this week.
Lots of wonderful and inspiring moments in the show - watch this space for our next CEPA trip! Well done to Year 12 and 13 in Creative, Expressive and Performing Arts. You have made a great start to A Level Drama, A Level Dance, A Level Music, BTEC Performing Arts, Media and Music. Looking forward to watching the upcoming performances in the next year.

Good luck to all the perfomers who are auditioning for the event at the Lowry on Monday 25th February - it is a very exciting opportunity for actors at Alder Grange.
 Congratulations to ten Year 10 & 11 pupils who have been successful in auditioning for an event at the Lowry Theatre, Manchester.
The pupils will have the chance to meet agents, casting directors and other influential people in the Performing Arts industry.  Rehearsals for Bugsy Malone are well underway now.
Watch out for tickets! BUGSY MALONE 12th -14th March - Don't miss it! Good luck to Year 10 and 11 Performing Arts students who are auditioning for an event which will be held at the Lowry Theatre.
